外国人居留证件变更指南

I.Conditions for handling affairs:

Any change in the residence registration items (name, reason of residence, passport or other international travel document number) and accompanying persons of the holder of the residence permit; If the residence permit holder's address, institution of study, work unit change, he/she shall apply to the residence permit issuing authority for change within 10 days from the date of change.

凡居留证件持有人的居留登记事项（姓名、居留事由、护照或其他国际旅行证件号码）、偕行人等情况发生变化的；居留证件持有人的住址、就读院校、工作单位等情况发生变化的，须在该事项发生变更之日起10日以内向居留证件签发机关申请办理变更。

(2) If the name, passport number and other relevant passport information pages are changed, the temporary accommodation registration form of overseas personnel shall be updated first, and the original and copy of the change certificate issued by the passport issuing authority shall be submitted;

(2) 变更姓名、护照号码等相关护照资料页信息的，先更新境外人员临时住宿登记单，并提交护照签发机关出具的变更证明原件及复印件；

(3) If the accompanying person is changed, the temporary accommodation registration form of overseas personnel shall be updated first; If the accompanying person is added, one recent 2-inch half length frontal bareheaded group photo of the applicant and the accompanying person and the corresponding proof of kinship (which can be issued by the relevant civil affairs, health, public security and other government departments, notary departments or the embassy (consulate) of the host country in China. If it is issued by a foreign institution, it must be approved by our embassy (consulate) abroad) For non Chinese translation, the Chinese translation issued by domestic translation qualified institutions shall be provided);

(3) 变更偕行人的，先更新境外人员临时住宿登记单；如系增加偕行人，还须提交1张申请人与偕行人的近期2寸半身正面免冠合影照片以及相应的亲属关系证明（可由相关的民政、卫生、公安等政府主管部门、公证部门或所属国驻华使（领）馆出具，系国外机构出具的，须经我驻外使（领）馆认证，非中文的需提供国内有翻译资质机构出具的中文翻译件）；

(4) If you change your work unit (school), you must also submit relevant certificates that the original work (Study) residence reason has been terminated;

(4) 变更工作单位（就读学校）的，还须提交原工作（学习）居留事由已终止的相关证明；

Note: 1. Only the change of residence address can be made through the entry-exit e-government platform of our bureau（ https://gaj.sh.gov.cn/crj/ ）If the application for change is approved, the receipt can be directly printed as the change voucher without going to the entry-exit administration department; Those who fail to pass the examination must still go to the entry-exit administration department with all the materials.

注：1、仅变更居住地址，可通过我局出入境电子政务平台（https://gaj.sh.gov.cn/crj/）申请变更手续，审核通过，可直接打印回执作为变更凭证，无需前往出入境管理部门办理；审核未通过的，带齐资料仍须前往出入境管理部门办理。

2. If the exit Entry Administration of the public security organ deems it necessary to interview the applicant, or requests to submit other supplementary materials (proof of economic source, proof of change of name and other information, proof of enterprise operation, etc.), except for the reason of force majeure, if it fails to accept the interview or submit materials within the agreed time, the acceptance shall be revoked.

2.公安机关出入境管理机构认为必要时需要面谈申请人，或要求提交其它补充材料（经济来源证明、姓名等信息变更证明、企业经营情况证明等），除不可抗力的原因外，未在约定时间内接受面谈或提交材料的，予以撤销受理。

3. The decision made by the exit Entry Administration of the public security organ not to extend, renew or reissue ordinary visas, not to apply for foreigners' residence permits and not to extend the period of residence shall be the final decision.

3、公安机关出入境管理机构作出的不予办理普通签证延期、换发、补发，不予办理外国人停留居留证件、不予延长居留期限的决定为最终决定。
