unit1 what do you suggest?
 
教学重点:1.单元的重点单词为:quickly, suggest, kind.
2.本单元的重点句型为:what about chopsticks?
                            why don’t you give him a kite?
                               how about a dragon kite
知 识目标: 1.能听、说、读、写本单元的四会单词并能灵活运用。
2.掌握本单元的四会句型并能灵活运用。
能力目标:  灵活掌握本单元的对话内容,领会本单元所学的重点句型的实用性,在日常生活中能做到灵活运用。
情感教育目标:培养学生善于思考,热心助人的良好品质.
教学过程:
一、     热身复习
1. t: look ! what can you see?(show some pictures on the screen .小组合作讨论(football, basketball, table, tennis, sandwiches ,sausages, hamburgers, milk, juice ,watermelon t-shirt ,dress ,skirt, bag, pen, pencil, ruler, book, pencil ,box)  
    2.t:boys and girls , please help me. tomorrow is my daughter’s birthday.
i want to give her a present . what do you suggest?
      请小组合作讨论,给出结果
        t: she’s got a pen.  what about a toy? how about a toy? (引出新句型,探照灯强调)
        t: if you want to express your suggests, you can see: what about…
how about…
     3.继续交流,老师作出相应的回答(i agree./ that’s a good idea/that’s great。)告诉学生如果同意别人的意见,就用that’s great! that’s a good idea! i agree等句型表示。
4.让学生练习对话:(小组合作练习)
a: what do you suggest?
b: what about a dress?
a: he’s got a dress.
b: how about a doll?
a: that’s good idea.
4..t: let’s play a game. i say a word, and you should express your suggestions in three different ways.
        t: a cake.
       s1: what about a cake?
       s2: how about a cake?
       s3: why don’t you give him a cake?
       work in pairs. then act out.
二、     课文教学
1.引出课文教学:
t: daming is going to go to america in the summer. will he visit his cousin?  will he take a present?
2.学生听录音, 回答问题,教师总结并引出下文:daming is going to go to america in the summer. he is going to visit his cousin. he is going to take a present. what does sam suggest?
3.学生听录音,回答问题,引出本单元的对话框架:
a: i want to take a present for my cousin. what do you suggest?
b: what about chopsticks?
a: he’s got chopsticks. his mum and grandma are chinese.
b: why don’t you give him a kite?
a: that’s a good idea. but what kind of kite?
b: how about a dragon kite?
a:a dragon kite?
b: yes. a chinese dragon kite.
a: i agree. 
4. 学生听录音, 跟读对话,适时讲解本课的生词 :quickly, excited.kind.
5.学生分组合作朗读课文,找几组展示。
三、     拓展运用
1.     超市购物
t : daming will take a chinese dragon kite for his friend. if you have an american  friend, what will you take him?
s: what about dumplings?
t: that’s good idea. it’s traditional chinese food.
   …….
t: ok. boys and girls. let’s go to the supermarket to buy the present.
2.          献爱心活动
t: boys and girls. are you happy today? yes, life is colorful. we can go to school and play games with our friends. we can eat good food and wear beautiful clothes. but there are still some children are very poor. they can’t eat good food and wear beautiful clothes. and some of them can’t go to school. why don’t we help them? maybe you have lots of books, why don’t you give them some books? what do you suggest?
s: what about pencils?
 ……………
      t: thank you for your advice. but we can’t just write it down. we should try our best to take it in action.
四、     课堂小结
  1. t : what did you learn today?
   s; i learned……
   why don’t you read them?
2.教师总结并倡导:give me your hand, and let’s go together.
