牟平新城(国际生命科学城)是烟台市“1+3+X”生物医药产业链重中之重的“1”，按照市委、市政府“率先打样、形成示范”的要求，率先高标准启动蓝色药谷生命岛产业园建设。产业园地域面积3.2平方公里，可建设开发土地约1600亩，目前启动建设798亩。项目建成满园满产后，预计年产值可达260亿元，利税48亿元。

The construction of Blue Medicine Valley and Life Island Project has been initiated to high standards ahead as a model. The project takes up 3.2 square kilometers with a construction area of 1,600 acres. By now, 789 acres of the land have been under construction with the annual output value of 26 billion RMB and taxation of 4.8 billion RMB.
