韩国出台政策激励生育 微软对OpenAI商业化 世界进入全球化下一阶段

1) South Korea to offer 18 months of paid parental leave for both parents.

韩国将为新生儿父母提供长达18个月的带薪育儿假。

韩国计划为12岁以下儿童的父母各提供长达18个月的育儿假。此举旨在鼓励更多夫妇生育孩子，提高韩国的出生率。此外，还有其它措施，包括缩短育儿父母的工作时间等。

由于抚养孩子的成本太高、工作时间长和缺乏可负担的托儿服务等，韩国的出生率多年来一直在下降。

新政策将从明年开始逐步出台，到2025年全面实施。如果计划实施成功，韩国男性将拥有世界最长的育儿带薪假。

In 2022, South Korea’s birth rate dropped to a record-low of 0.81. The birthrate for countries to maintain their population size without migration is 2.1.

The plan will allow parents to take paid parental leave up until the child is 12 years old. Other incentives included shortening working hours for parents responsible for childcare.

If successful, South Korean men will receive the longest paid paternity leave in the world.

2) Microsoft to Commercialize OpenAI's Tools; All Products to Have AI Features Like ChatGPT.

It is not surprising for Microsoft to greatly support the growth of OpenAI since it is an early investor in the startup.

Microsoft's plan with OpenAI tools will make the company's products available as platforms for other businesses and users.

Nadella claims that these tools could enhance human productivity, allowing the economy to grow, leading to better wages for lower-income jobs.

3) SAP CEO says the world is entering the ‘next phase of globalization’.

德国公司SAP首席执行官表示，世界正在进入全球化的下一个阶段。

他认为技术将在跨境连接企业和人员方面发挥更大的作用。由于新冠疫情和俄乌战争，全球供应链（包括生产、食品、油气等）出现了问题，基于数据的企业资源计划（ERP）将帮助企业重塑供应链，在全球市场保持竞争力。

Klein said we are entering “the next phase of globalization,” with companies shifting their focus to building up resilient supply chains and improving their sustainability credentials.

Technology is the “solution” to making supply chains more resilient, as companies need a better handle on the data underpinning their businesses to make more effective decisions.
