Cross-border investment currently faces significant information barriers. Overseas limited partners (LPs) often struggle to identify and thoroughly assess high-quality Chinese general partners (GPs), while domestic investment institutions lack regular opportunities for direct engagement with leading global investors and major industry players.

The integration of global innovation ecosystems is an irreversible trend, driving growing demand for exchanges and cooperation between domestic and international LPs and GPs. The industry urgently needs a professional platform connecting leading funds of funds (FOFs) worldwide. Having successfully held four editions, the Davos Global FOF Summit aims to provide a valuable platform for fostering cooperation in emerging industries, supporting the global expansion of high-quality Chinese projects, facilitating international investment activities, and attracting foreign capital.

2027年1月20日，第五届达沃斯全球母基金峰会将于瑞士达沃斯举办！本届峰会，由全球母基金协会主办、中国国际科技促进会母基金分会联合主办。峰会行程安排将于2027年1月18日持续至2027年1月22日。

The Fifth Davos Global FOF Summit will take place in Davos, Switzerland, on January 20, 2027. The summit will be hosted by the Global FOF Association and co-hosted by the Fund of Funds Branch of the China International Association for Promotion of Science and Technology (CIAPST). The overall summit program will run from January 18 to January 22, 2027.

The list of prospective invitees for the Fifth Davos Global FOF Summit has been unveiled (see the image at the end of this article). As a long-awaited opportunity for multilateral dialogue within the global FOF industry, the summit plans to bring together more than 100 prominent figures from the global fund of funds and investment fund sectors. Participants will explore strategies for navigating economic cycles and share their perspectives on the future development of the global FOF industry.

在本届峰会上，全球母基金协会将重磅发布2026全球最佳投资机构榜单。此前，全球母基金协会已经连续七年发布年度全球最佳投资机构榜单，榜单由全球母基金协会邀请欧美、中东等地区的投资协会推荐、评比打分选出。

At this year's summit, the Global FOF Association will unveil its 2026 List of the World's Best Investment Institutions. The association has published this annual ranking for seven consecutive years. The list is compiled through nominations, evaluations, and scoring by investment associations from Europe, the United States, the Middle East, and other regions, at the invitation of the Global FOF Association.

The Fifth Davos Global FOF Summit offers a rare opportunity to engage directly with leading LPs from around the world. Participants will be able to exchange investment insights with international LPs from Europe, the United States, the Middle East, and other regions, gain a deeper understanding of the investment strategies and decision-making approaches of U.S. dollar-denominated FOFs, and connect with domestic and international LPs seeking to make capital commitments in RMB or U.S. dollars……According to incomplete statistics, Chinese GPs that participated in the previous four Davos Global FOF Summits have raised more than US$1.63 billion. The summit has also received coverage from People's Daily and China Central Television (CCTV), helping to amplify China's voice on the global stage. These achievements have further heightened anticipation for the Fifth Davos Global FOF Summit across the private equity industry.

达沃斯全球母基金峰会将组织参会者乘坐观光火车登上峰峦之上，体验阿尔卑斯山的神秘壮丽，共赴一场冰川列车之旅；在达沃斯小镇的云顶餐厅，参与一场特别的“云顶论坛”。达沃斯全球母基金峰会还将安排参会者进行丰富的参访活动，包括参访瑞银集团（UBS）总部，与这家外资LP交流。瑞银集团是欧洲最大的金融控股集团之一，总部位于瑞士苏黎世，主要业务包括投资银行、私人银行、资产管理、财富管理等领域。

The Davos Global FOF Summit will organize a scenic train journey through the magnificent Swiss Alps, offering participants an opportunity to experience the breathtaking beauty and grandeur of the Alpine landscape aboard the Glacier Express. Participants will also take part in a special "Cloudtop Forum" at a mountaintop restaurant in Davos. In addition, the summit will arrange a series of institutional visits, including a visit to the headquarters of UBS Group, where participants will have the opportunity to exchange views with representatives of this international financial institution. UBS Group is one of Europe's largest financial holding groups, with its principal office in Zurich, Switzerland. Its major business activities include investment banking, private banking, asset management, and wealth management.
