足坛传奇，突发心脏骤停去世

葡萄牙足球俱乐部波尔图发布公告称，该俱乐部的足球总监和传奇队长若热·科斯塔在遭遇心脏骤停后于当地时间本周二去世，享年 53 岁。

The former Porto captain Jorge Costa has died at the age of 53 after suffering a cardiac arrest at the club's training centre.

The former defender, who was serving as Porto's director of professional football in his second season in the role, was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved.

He left his mark on generations of fans and became a symbol of Portismo. Thank you for being FC Porto until the end. Forever, Jorge Costa."

数据显示，科斯塔职业生涯为波尔图出场383次，并在葡萄牙国家队有50次出场。他曾于2003年随队捧起欧洲联盟杯，随后在2004年以队长身份带领由穆里尼奥执教的波尔图赢得欧洲冠军联赛冠军。科斯塔在波尔图的15年职业生涯中共赢得了八次联赛冠军。

Over his career, Costa played 530 games in all competitions – 383 for Porto and 50 for Portugal's national team. As captain, he led Porto to Uefa Cup glory in 2003 and a Champions League triumph in 2004 under manager José Mourinho. Costa also helped Porto win eight Portuguese league titles.

科斯塔还曾短暂租借加盟英超联赛的查尔顿竞技队，后于2006年在标准列日队结束了他的球员生涯。据媒体报道，在退役之后，科斯塔在管理岗位上度过了17个年头，此外曾执教过加蓬国家队等球队。

"It's part of my history that goes," an emotional Mourinho said at Fenerbahce's press conference ahead of Wednesday's Champions League qualifier against Feyenoord in Rotterdam.

"Of course I am very sad but I'm here because if he could speak with me now he would tell me: 'Come on, do your press conference and tomorrow play the game and win mister. Forget about me'. That would be Jorge. So that's what I am going to try to do. Do my job today, do my job tomorrow, and then cry after."

欧足联官方社交媒体也发文悼念了科斯塔，欧足联主席亚历山大·切费林表示：“科斯塔不仅仅是一名足球运动员，他是一位领导者，一位真正的勇士，激励了一代又一代人。他体现了勇气、韧性和忠诚。”

UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin also paid tribute to the former Porto captain, saying: "A legend of Portuguese football, Jorge was more than a football player – he was a leader and a true warrior who inspired generations. He embodied grit, resilience and loyalty."
