“（加沙）正在发生的事不亚于一场种族灭绝，非常可怕。”美国女演员詹妮弗·劳伦斯（昵称“大表姐”）当地时间26日在一场新闻发布会上指控以色列军队在加沙犯下“种族灭绝”罪行。

American actress Jennifer Lawrence says the situation in Gaza is "no less than a genocide".

Speaking at a press conference for her new film at the San Sebastián film festival, Lawrence responded to several journalists' questions about fraught political topics.

据《以色列时报》、英国《卫报》等外媒报道，劳伦斯当天在西班牙圣塞巴斯蒂安国际电影节一场新闻发布会上被问及以色列在加沙的行动，她回答称：“我感到恐惧。这令人感到痛心。（加沙）正在发生的事情不亚于一场种族灭绝，非常可怕。我为我的孩子们，为我们所有的孩子们感到担心。所有人都应该记住，当你对世界另一端发生的事情漠然无视时，用不了多久，同样的事情也会在你身边重演。”

When asked about Israel's violence in Gaza, Lawrence replied: "I'm terrified. It's mortifying. What's happening is no less than a genocide and it's terrible. And everybody needs to remember that when you ignore what's happening on one side of the world, it won't be long until it's on your side as well."
