“续面事件”老板致歉:将永久闭店

9月23日,“续面事件”面馆老板霍某发布视频致歉。

A noodle shop owner in Zhengzhou, Henan province, has publicly apologized and announced the permanent closure of his establishment following a widely discussed incident involving customers requesting extra portions of noodles.

霍某表示,续面事件给有关部门带来了麻烦,给当事人造成了伤害,深表歉意。为自己的言行举止而犯的错误买单,挨打要立正。他还回应被说卖惨:“我本来就很惨。”

In a video posted on Tuesday, the shop owner, Huo, expressed regret for the trouble caused to local authorities and the harm inflicted on the customers involved. "I must take responsibility for my actions — face the consequences squarely," he said. He also addressed accusations of exaggerating his hardships, stating: "I am already in a difficult situation."

霍某称:“关于续面事件的后续,我会亲自给马女士以及其他当事人赔礼道歉,并做出补偿。如果马女士不同意,要走法律途径,我触犯了法律,我也会真诚勇敢地面对。”

Huo pledged to apologize personally to Ma, the customer involved, and offer compensation. He added that if legal action is pursued, he would confront it sincerely.

他表示,尽管这家饭店倾注了他五年的心血,也是他的全部身家,但他仍然决定将其永久关闭。这既是对当事人及全国网友的一个交代,也是为他个人不当言行所犯错误的一个交代。

Despite having invested five years of effort into the business, he decided to shut it down permanently as "a resolution for the customers and netizens".

除了道歉的视频,该账号从9月20日至23日共发布24个视频,霍某分段讲述了自己的“前半生”。

“续面事件”引发关注,源于8月14日,饭馆老板在个人抖音账户发布的一段视频。视频中,老板霍先生称,店内2名顾客带5个孩子“只点了一碗饸饹面,多次加面,并给店铺差评”,引发关注。之后,涉事顾客马女士晒出140余元的账单,事件迎来反转,引发网友讨论。

The controversy began on Aug 14, when Huo posted a video claiming that two customers brought five children to his shop, ordered only one bowl of noodles, repeatedly requested extra portions, and left a negative review. The situation reversed when Ma later shared a receipt showing a payment of over 140 yuan, sparking online debate.

新京报记者了解到,双方就“续面、差评”一事,于8月15日,在饭店所属辖区的三官庙街道办的调解下,达成和解协议。协议书显示,双方达成协议:商家把视频删除,保证不在网上再次传播。对不实言论和对未成年人肖像权侵害进行当面道歉。同时,涉事顾客发布在社交平台的店铺差评内容进行删除,保证不在网上传播。

On Aug 15, both parties reached a mediation agreement through local authorities, requiring Huo to delete the video and apologize for false statements and violation of the minors' portrait rights. Ma agreed to remove her negative review.

达成和解协议后,8月16日,面馆老板霍先生在网络发布视频称,顾客带孩子到店,可安排免费吃面,“咱吃不了,咱给他倒了,咱都不让那个‘七匹狼’吃”的言论,再度引起网络关注。

8月19日,郑州老霍记饸饹面馆已关门停业。

However, on Aug 16, Huo posted another video criticizing the customers, which reignited public attention. His shop closed on Aug 19.

19日,“续面事件”当事人马女士告诉新京报记者,她自己也因遭受了舆论影响,身体状况不佳,去医院检查后身体欠佳,需要连续输液。由于面馆老板持续直播谈论此事,她打算起诉店铺老板。

Ma told the Reporter that due to the online backlash, her health deteriorated, requiring medical treatment. She plans to sue Huo for his continued commentary on the incident.
