华裔演员黄家韻出席第十五届北京国际电影节

第十五届北京国际电影节，4月18～26日在北京隆重举行！由中央电视总台，北京市人民政府，北京广播电视台主办和承办。4月24日北京国际电影节一光影艺术节“爱电影、爱北京”在北京朗园Station 隆重举办！

北京国际电影节的广阔舞台，激发大众对电影艺术的热爱与探索，成为人人参与的电影节。用艺术之光点亮城市的每一个角落，让电影成为连接本土与国际的桥梁！著名华裔演员黄家韻出席第十五届北京国际电影节光影艺术节上台讲话、分享她的影视作品《吧巴小城故事 A story of Papar town 》｜30分钟微电影，并获得优秀作品荣誉证书！

The 15th Beijing International Film Festival will be held in Beijing from April 18th to 26th! Hosted and organized by China Central Television, Beijing Municipal People's Government, and Beijing Radio and Television Station. On April 24th, the "Love Film, Love Beijing" Light and Shadow Art Festival of the Beijing International Film Festival was grandly held at Langyuan Station in Beijing!

The vast stage of the Beijing International Film Festival inspires the public's love and exploration of film art, making it a film festival that everyone participates in. Illuminate every corner of the city with the light of art, making movies a bridge connecting the local and international communities! Famous Chinese actress Wong Kar Yuen attended the 15th Beijing International Film Festival Light and Shadow Art Festival to give a speech and share her film and television work " A story of Papar town " | 30 minute microfilm, and received an excellent work honor certificate!

演员黄家韻接受媒体专访时说：大家好，我是来自马来西亚的黄家韵。是一名热爱故事创作的演员。这次非常荣幸能够来到北京，参加这次具有国际影响力的北京国际电影节。对我来说，电影不仅仅是艺术的呈现，更是一种可以传承记忆与情感的方式。

我这次带来的作品叫《巴吧小城故事》，它是一部根据真实故事改编的作品。灵感来自我94岁的外婆，很荣幸导演萧南馨让我主演外婆的角色。在二战时期，她被卖作童养媳，从小过着很苦的生活。但她从未向命运低头，她坚信教育很重要。

虽然没有机会接受完整的教育，她靠自学学会了读书写字。她常说只有知识可以改变命运。也正是这份坚持和信念，让她在晚年积极回馈社会，资助了马来西亚和中国唐山很多学校，希望更多孩子能有更好的教育机会。

我希望这个故事能传递一种力量，即使身处逆境，只要不放弃，就一定可以走出属于自己的光明之路。

I’m Melissa Wong Kar Yuen from Malaysia, an actress who is passionate about storytelling. It’s truly an honor for me to be here in Beijing to participate in the prestigious Beijing International Film Festival.

To me, film is not just an art form ,it is a powerful platform that preserves memories and emotions across generations.

The work I’m presenting is titled A Story of Papar Town, a film inspired by true story. It draws from the life of my 94-year-old grandmother, and I’m deeply honored to play her role under the direction of Michelle Xin.

During World War II, my grandmother was sold as a child bride and endured a very difficult childhood. Yet, she never gave in to fate. She firmly believed that education was the key to a better life.

Although she never had the chance to complete formal schooling, she taught herself how to read and write. She always said, “Only knowledge can change one’s destiny.” With that belief, she spent her later years giving back to society by supporting schools in both Malaysia and Tangshan, China so that more children could access quality education.

Through this story, I hope to share a message of resilience, even in the face of hardship, as long as you don’t give up, you can always find your own path to the light.
