WORLD 英语比赛演讲稿

       Hi, guys, I think many of you still remember what I said in the last year. "Olympic torch relay" right?    I got the second place in the last year. Today, I stand here, not only wanna get the champion, but also wanna share something with you guys.
      I know there are many high level students here. And my compititors are all from the companies which always need English comunication, but I am not afraid. And I do not wanna use project. Just listen to me, Bob never make you down!
     I have studied here for 2 years.During this time, there are many interesting things I can recollect. Such as the frist BBQ, Jackie`s wedding, Christmas party. I am not trying to show how long it has been, just wanna tell you
world make my life colourful.
     We come here to learn English, Cause we know English is so important. But question is what can English bring us?
      Above all, English makes me confident. I worked in shanghai before I came here. I found a strange thing. When my coworkers talked about a serious thing, they prefered to use English. maybe it seemed more professional? when they wanna make a kidding with me, they also use English, but when they were in trouble. they use Chinese for help! Cause they were afraid they can not make me understand! So when I was back, I had to improve my English. fortunetly, My English is not so bad. half a year later. when I met them in internet. I could chat with them in English. But another strange thing happened, They didn`t speak English to me anymore I understood, they just wanna laugh at me! Cause I can not communicate with them.
      English also help me in business. My job is logistics, I do not use English in my work but my customers. Sometimes they can`t understand the words in transportation. I can help them, I can be a translator for them. Actually, It is double-wins. I give them good service,they give me more orders.
     Last but not the least, I am happy to have some good friends by English. We often have parties at weekend.
sometimes foreign teachers also join us. I really enjoy our time. when I sad, they inspired me, told me what I should do. They help me to find the goals of my life.
     So if you still ask me : Can we change our life by English? My answer is : Yes, we can! Before ending of my
speech, I wanna give my thankness to my toturs and my friends again. I can not stand here without you. I successed in English learning beacuse of what you did and what you are doing!
