Drawn from Life： the Art of Disney Animation Studios

Classic artwork[图片] from Disney Animation will be put on display at the National Museum of China （NMC） starting from June 30th.

“Drawn from Life： the Art of Disney Animation Studios” features[展出] more than 300 items， including scenes from Steamboat Willie， Mickey Mouse， Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and The Lion King， created in the past 90 years of the studio’s history.

The exhibition[展览会] consists of[由……组成] four themes： friendship， family， courage and love. Many sketches[草图，素描] have not been shown to the public before.

It’s easy to forget that behind each final Disney animated film is a collection of thousands of sketches. But when the filming wraps[使完成拍摄]， they are often archived[把……存档] and overlooked[忽视]. Mary Walsh， managing director[常务董事] of the Disney Animation Research Library， said such exhibitions are like walking into Disney history.

NMC’s deputy curator[副馆长] Chen Lyusheng said Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck were the first animated figures to appear on TV in China in the 1980s. And Chinese audiences have been in love with Disney animation ever since .

The exhibition will last until August 18th before moving to Shanghai.

自今年6月30日起，华特迪士尼工作室将在中国国家博物馆（NMC）展出其经典动画原稿。

“生命之绘―迪士尼经典动画艺术展”展出了超过三百件展品，其中包括《蒸汽船威利》《米老鼠》《白雪公主与七个小矮人》和《狮子王》等在迪士尼工作室过去90年历史中诞生的经典场景。

此次展会分成“友谊、家庭、勇气和爱”四个主题展出。许多原稿此前并未对外展出。

人们很容易会忘记，每一部迪士尼动画电影成品的背后是成千上万张草图。但当电影拍摄完成后，它们通常会被收集归档，被人忽略。迪士尼动画研究所常务董事玛丽・沃什说：“这样的展览让人仿佛走进了迪士尼历史。”

中国国家博物馆副馆长陈履生表示，上世纪80年代，米老鼠和唐老鸭进入中国，成为首次出现在中国荧屏上的动画形象。自那时起，迪士尼动画便深受中国观众的喜爱。

该展览将持续到8月18日，随后会到上海展出。
