　　B：现在有的人总是下午茶称为HighTea，听起来怪怪的。

　　A：说起来，这里还有一点小故事呢

　　B：在英文里面，真正的'HighTea是指英国的乡间的农夫、木匠，干完活后腰酸背痛，加上英国的夏天日长夜短，到了下午5、6点，太阳还是相当猛烈。他们要回家吃一些轻便的晚餐，喝杯啤酒、吃点面包是最好的选择，这一种就叫做HighTea。因为他们是在厨房吃饭，厨房的桌子特别的高,就为High,在英国要喝到货真价实的下午茶，不是叫HighTea，而是叫AfternoonTea，他们的桌子一点也不高，只不过是品尝下午茶的人身份比较高贵。A：下午茶的起源是来自于十八世纪的英国皇室，有一位女伯爵叫做安娜，每天都要排期参加宴会，通常皇宫的宴会都要八、九点才开始，下午肚子就开始饿了，于是忍不住就叫厨房冲了一壶茶，拿几块饼干来填饱肚子，吃着吃着就上瘾了，于是又叫了些蛋糕、面包、三文治、糕点等等，慢慢下午茶便成了宫廷的一种时尚，还吸引了一帮贵妇聚在一起，叽叽喳喳，道人是非，这个就是下午茶的由来了。

　　B：有个守财奴变卖了他所有的家产，换回了金块，并秘密地埋在一个地方。他每天走去看看他的宝藏。有个在附近放羊的牧人留心观察，知道了真情，趁他走后，挖出金块拿走了。守财奴再来时，发现洞中的金块没有了，便捶胸痛哭。有个人见他如此悲痛，问明原因后，说道：“喂，朋友，别再难过了，那块金子虽是你买来的，但并不是你真正拥有的。去拿一块石头来，代替金块放在洞里，只要你心里想着那是块金子，你就会很高兴。这样与你拥有真正的金块效果没什么不同。依我之见，你拥有那金块时，也从没用过。”
